Inspired by Kago; Salable Goods; A glimpse into an uncomfortable future

This pen sketch (with PhotoShop colors (GRADIENTS FUCK YEAH)) inspired by the cover to Shintaro Kago’s new book, the Dark Beast Animorphosis. I found out about Kago through Same Hat, which is an awesome blog if you’re interested in anything that’s simultaneously bizarre and Japanese. I’ve posted other Kago-influenced stuff here before, but this is the most recent thing I’ve drawn which nods explicitly in his direction.
